ASyou may know, I'm not really much of a beauty blogger, despite pretty makeup having been my newest obsession for the last 9 months. What can I say, I just love playing with pretty, sparkly colors and pigments, and to put them on my eyes is just a new way of using them to me. ^_~ So, while I may have figured out how to do somewhat proper macro shots of of jewelry and the like, my makeup shots still very much suck.

WIEihr sicher wisst, bin ich keine Beauty Bloggerin, obwohl schönes Makeup definitiv mein neuestes Hobby während der letzten 9 Monate war. Was soll ich sagen, schönen, glitzernden und schimmernden Farben und Pigmenten konnte ich noch nie widerstehen, und ob ich sie nun auf Schmuckteile pinsele, oder meine Augenlieder, so groß ist der Unterschied für mich nicht. ^_~ Allerdings, obwohl ich von mir inzwischen mit Fug und Recht behaupten kann, gute Schmuckfotos hin zu bekommen, habe ich im Bereich Makeupfotos offensichtlich noch viel zu lernen.

DONE: Still too much work and too little free time, though right now I'm really glad about all the additional hours I'm clocking. I just hope neither my back nor my right wrist will give in on me ...
Had to make use of the counseling the Caritas offers for the second time this year. For a different reason this time around, albeit the two are linked. Cried a river or two. Did way overdue taxes. Learned how to make mashed potatoes, potato soup and how to bake my own bread. Lost 14 lbs in 3 weeks despite that, and still feel hungry a lot. EATEN: Wraps, baked romana lettuce wrapped in bacon, rice pilav, mustard eggs, simit (Turkish sesame rings) ... Dishes made from leftovers and out-of-the-pantry, for the most part.
DRUNK: Water, coffee, peppermint tea, rosehip tea
THOUGHT: As you have brewed, so you must drink.
ENJOYED: Last Sunday, when Mister H. invited me over for lunch, and afterwards my sister and niece "abducted" me to the theater to watch Saphirblau. After some very stressful weeks, this was just the kind of pick-me-up I needed. Also, a person I barely knew from Facebook, helped me out when I really needed it. Thank you. ♥
LAUGHED: At the little girl in the bus flexing her arm to show that she was This Strong. Wish I had your strength, little one.
ANNOYED: At myself, because the current misery could have been completely avoided, if only ...
WISHED: If only I could stop telling myself just how dumb I've been.
BOUGHT: Only food, and it's going to be like that at least until October starts.
PLAYED: Shadow Hearts
Yes, it's an RPG from the beginning times of the PS2, but imho one of the very best, despite its flaws. Love the humor, this game is poking great fun at itself and the RPG genre in general.
GETAN: Immer noch zu viel Arbeit, und zu wenig Freizeit, wobei ich im Moment über die ganzen Überstunden richtig glücklich bin. Zumindest sobald sie ausgezahlt werden. Ich hoffe nur inständig, dass weder mein Kreuz, noch das Handgelenk schlapp machen ...
Musste zum zweiten Mal dieses Jahr das Beratungsangebot der Caritas in Anspruch nehmen, allerdings aus einem anderen Grund als beim ersten Mal. Obwohl Grund #1 und #2 durchaus miteinander zu tun haben. Rotz und Wasser geheult. Überfällige Steuererklärungen erledigt. Gelernt wie man Kartoffelstampf macht, Kartoffelsuppe, und wie man sein eigenes Brot bäckt. Trotzdem in 3 Wochen 7 Kilo verloren und irgendwie immer hungrig.
GEGESSEN: Wraps, Salatherzen in Bacon, Pilav, Senfeier, Simit (Türkische Sesamkringel) ... Alles was man aus Resten und Voratsschrankinhalt so zaubern kann.
GEDACHT: Die Suppe, die man sich einbrockt, muss man auch wieder auslöffeln ...
GEFREUT: Über die Einladung zum Essen von Herrn H. letzten Sonntag, und die anschließende Entführung ins Kino durch meine Schwester und Nichte. Das war genau die Aufmunterung, die ich bitter nötig hatte. Außerdem hat mir eine Dame, die ich von Facebook her eigentlich nur flüchtig kenne, in einer echten Notsituation ausgeholfen. Danke. ♥
GELACHT: Über das kleine Mädchen im Bus, das seine Muskeln spielen ließ, um zu zeigen, dass sie So Stark ist. Ich wünschte, ich hätte ein bisschen was von Deiner Stärke, kleines Mädchen.
GEÄRGERT: Über mich selbst, wie eigentlich fast immer. Denn das derzeitige Drama wäre absolut zu vermeiden gewesen, wenn nur ...
GEWÜNSCHT: Wenn ich doch nur aufhören könnte, mir selbst vorzuwerfen, wie blöd ich doch war. Hilft jetzt auch nichts mehr.
GEKAUFT: Nur Lebensmittel. Und das bleibt so. Bis mindestens Oktober.
GESPIELT: Shadow Hearts
Ja, ein Rollenspiel ganz aus den Anfangszeiten der PS2, aber meiner Meinung nach immer noch eines der besten, trotz diverser Hänger und Macken. Außerdem eines der wenigen Rollenspiele, das sich und das Genre ganz dreist auf die Schippe nimmt, der Humor ist einfach herrlich.

DONE: Worked. Lots. By the time this goes online I will have clocked about 40 hours in my supposed part-time job. Got my brows done, been to the hairdresser, my GP, the hospital (because that laceration I got in the accident two weeks ago was a.) apparently overlooked, since it wasn't in the report and needed to be added, and b.) it wasn't healing properly and looked infected, but no worries, it's better now), and the psychiatrist to test for ADHS and new medication. Managed to walk 10000 steps every day despite my squished foot. Went shopping in Mainz. Went to Darmstadt for the Jugendstil Tage (Art Nouveau Days), but wasn't able to stay until the late evening for the "illumination in red", because my squished foot started hurting again. But I did pick up the Starbucks Darmstadt mug for a dear friend of mine. ^-^ And, somehow, I managed to sneak in some time for re-dyeing my hair. EATEN: Pizza baguette, snacks, rhubarb crumble, pizza baguette, snacks, cashews, pizza baguette, wieners with potato salad, sandwiches, focaccia, "schokoknuffi", blueberry muffins ... Yes, this was unhealthy-convenience-food-week, I had neither the time nor the energy to cook. Or do the dishes. Needless to say, my kitchen looks like a battlefield.
DRUNK: Energy drinks, coffee, country coffee, home made lemonade, ginger ale
THOUGHT: "Not again ... =_=#" when I had to come in earlier at Monday. And then Tuesday as well. And then I had to work Sunday too. Argh. *headdesks*
ENJOYED: Things finally going smoothly most of the time at work this week. Also totally geeked out at the superhero episode of Warehouse 13 ("Mild Mannered"), which not only had Jewel Staite and Sean Maher guest starring, playing a couple, but also Sean's character was named Sheldon, and Claudia declared "Alonsy!" at one point. If you "get" this, you are my hero. XD There were plenty more references, plus, Mika looked pretty darn hot in her superhero outfit. In fact, I feel the urge to re-watch that exact scene right now. Best. TV. Show. Ever. Ok, one of several best TV shows ever. ;) Also, my order from TBN arrived, those eyeshadows are so, so fucking gorgeous. *-*
LAUGHED: At every single episode of Warehouse 13 so far.
ANNOYED: People who step off an escalator, but then utterly fail to move on or step out of the way.

GESEHEN: "Warehouse 13" bis zum Anfang von Staffel 3.
GELESEN: Ich habe es endlich geschafft "Saphirblau" von Kerstin Gier fertig zu lesen
GETAN:Gearbeitet, viel gearbeitet. Vierzig Stunden diese Woche in meinem "Teilzeit"job. Hab mir wieder von Benefitmädel Sabi die Brauen machen lassen, und von Lieblingsfriseur Vasili die Spitzen schneiden. Dann noch beim Hausarzt gewesen, und nochmal im Krankenhaus, weil die Abschürfung am Matschefuß wohl übersehen worden war, denn sie stand nicht im Unfallbericht. Außerdem heilte sie auch nicht richtig und sah entzündet aus, aber inzwischen ist alles wieder gut. Dann noch beim Psychater um auf ADHS testen zu lassen, und für neue Medikamente mit denen ich hoffentlich nicht mehr ganz so neben der Spur bin. Ich habe es geschafft, jeden Tag über 10000 Schritte zu laufen, und dann war ich noch in Mainz zum shoppen, und am Samstag in Darmstadt zu den Jugendstiltagen. Leider konnte ich nicht bis zur Illumination bleiben, denn der Matschefuß tat immer mehr weh, und ich war auch am schwächeln weil ich für die Arbeit um 03:30 aufgestanden war ... Aber immerhin habe ich es geschafft für eine liebe Freundin den Starbucks Städtebecher abzugreifen. ^-^ Und, irgendwie, hab ich auch noch geschafft, etwas Zeit zu finden, um meine Haare nach zu färben. GEGESSEN: Pizzabaguette, Snacks, Rhabarberstreusel, Pizzabaguette, Snacks, Cashews, Pizzabaguette, Wienerle mit Kartoffelsalat, Focaccia, belegte Brötchen, einen "Schokoknuffi", Blaubeermuffins ... Ja, es war eine ziemlich ungesunde Fertigfraß-Woche, ich hatte weder die Zeit, noch die Energie mich zum kochen in die Küche zu stellen. Oder abzuspülen. Ich brauche wohl kaum zu erwähnen, dass es in der Küche (und nicht nur da) aussieht wie auf einem Schlachtfeld ...

GEDACHT:"Och nö ... =_=#", als ich am Montag früher auf der Arbeit einrücken musste. Und dann am Dienstag auch. Und dann bekam ich auch noch eine Schicht am Sonntag aufgedrückt. *Stirn-auf-Tischplatte-hau*
GEFREUT:Dass es auf der Arbeit diese Woche zur Abwechslung wenigstens mal einigermaßen glatt lief. Außerdem hab ich selig vor mich hingenerdet als ich die Superheldenfolge von Warehouse 13 gesehen habe ("Mild Mannered" – wie die Folge auf Deutsch heißt, kann ich euch nicht sagen, ich gucke grundsätzlich die Originalfassung), bei der nicht nur Jewel Staite und Sean Maher eine Gastrolle als Pärchen hatten, sondern Seans Character hieß auch noch Sheldon, und Claudia posaunte an einem Punkt ein "Alonsy!" heraus. Wenn ihr jetzt nicht vollkommen planlos seid, und wisst, worum es geht, habt ihr bei mir Heldenstatus. XD Es gab noch sooo viel mehr Anspielungen in der Folge, und Mika sah in ihrem Superheldenoutfit einfach nur supersexz aus. Ich glaube, die Szene muß ich mir grad noch ein-zwei Mal anschauen ... Weltbeste. TV. Serie. Überhaupt. Na, ok, eine von vielen weltbesten TV Serien überhaupt. Und meine Lieferung von TBN kam endlich an, die Lidschatten sind ja so, so wunderschön. *-*

LAUGHED: At my sister's conspiracy theory that we're all trying to come up with valid excuses to not help her move end of May. My brother had to undergo spine surgery a few weeks back, I got my foot squished by the fork lift at work, and my sister herself tore a tendon when she fell a few days prior to my accident. This is all coincidence, of course.
ANNOYED: By mold in the pesto I wanted to use for cooking. And then there was this incident when I accidentally left a box of frozen berries on the kitchen counter, and the next day it looked like someone had been murdered in there – but that actually made me laugh rather than annoying me.
WISHED: That there'd be testers for eyeliners in the drugstores here
BOUGHT: Plenty, but most notably the Iconic 1, 2 and 3 palettes by Makeup Revolution (which are supposedly dupes to the much hyped NAKED palettes by Urban Decay), and the limited p2 palette which got a surprise re-release this Friday.

GETAN: Am frühen Mittwochmorgen meinen rechten Fuß zwischen einem vollbeladenen Flurförderfahrzeug (auch gemeinhin bekannt als Stapler) und einer hölzernen Europalette eingeklemmt, was mich für den Rest der Woche äußerst effektiv außer Gefecht setzte. Ich habe unheimlich viel Glück gehabt, dass nichts gebrochen war, aber weh tut es trotzdem ganz gemein. Hab mich bei www.pinkmelon.de als Produktester angemeldet und auf Instagram beim#rainbowflashmob mitgemacht. GELACHT: Über die Verschwörungstheorie meiner Schwester, dass wir alle versuchen uns vor ihrem Umzug zu drücken. Der Bruder hatte vor ein paar Wochen Bandscheiben-OP, ich quetsch mir den Fuß, und die Lieblingsschwester selbst hat sich drei Tage vorher einen Bänderriss zugezogen. Natürlich alles Zufall, ehrlich.
GEÄRGERT: Über Schimmel in meinem Pesto. Naja, und dann gab es noch diesen Vorfall, bei dem ich eine Packung TK-Beeren auf der Anrichte vergessen habe, und am nächsten Morgen sah es so aus als wäre in meiner Küche jemand ermordet worden ... Aber selbst darüber musste ich dann doch eher lachen.
